Daily golf game: 9 new holes every day

Same course for everyone, one official round a day, unlimited practice. Read the wind, pick a club, time the swing.

How to play Pin High

  1. Aim with one thumb. Drag anywhere on the map and the target slides with you, so your thumb never hides it. Tap a spot to jump the target there.
  2. Let the caddie pick, or overrule it. The club row shows how far each club carries from your lie — less from the rough, much less from sand.
  3. Hold, then release on the tick. The meter fills while you hold. Release on the white tick to land on your target. Past the red line you gain a few yards but the ball hooks.
  4. Read the green. Close to the flag the camera zooms in and arrows drift downhill. Aim a little uphill of the cup.

Scoring

Each hole is scored against par, like real golf: 🦅 eagle or better, 🐦 birdie, 🟩 par, 🟨 bogey, 🟧 double bogey, 🟥 worse. After 9 holes you get your total, how you compare with everyone who played the same course today, and a scorecard to share — as emoji text or as an image of the course.

What makes Pin High different

  • Unlimited practice. Replay today's course after your official round, or play a brand-new 9 holes as often as you like on the practice course.
  • One-thumb controls. Drag-anywhere aiming and a single hold-and-release swing — no tiny buttons, no second hand.
  • Real comparison. See the share of today's players you beat and the full spread of scores, not just a top-10 list.
  • Image scorecard. Share a picture of your best hole with your round, not only emoji squares.

Questions people ask

How does the daily golf game work?

Every day at 00:00 UTC a new 9-hole course appears, and every player gets the same one. You play it once for your official score, then you can replay it or any number of new courses in practice. Your scorecard, streak and history stay in your browser — no account.

How do I hit the ball?

Drag anywhere on the course to slide the yellow target, or tap a spot. The caddie picks a club for that distance (tap another club to change it). Then hold the swing button and let go when the meter reaches the white tick. Letting go past the red 100% line hits it further but hooks it left.

What changes the shot?

Wind (the arrow and mph at the top right) carries the ball sideways and makes a shot play longer or shorter — the 'plays' number already allows for a head or tail wind, but you aim off for a crosswind yourself. Rough costs about 14% of the distance, bunkers more unless you use a wedge, and greens slope: the moving arrows show which way putts break.

What happens in water or out of bounds?

Water costs one penalty stroke and you drop next to where the ball went in. Out of bounds (into the woods) costs one stroke and you replay the shot from the same spot, as in real golf. A hole ends after par + 5 strokes so one bad hole can't ruin the round.

Is this Daily Holes or Daily 9?

No. Pin High is an independent game made by Rarest Answer, with its own course generator, art and scoring. It is not affiliated with Daily Holes, Daily 9, putt.day or any other daily golf game.

Is it free on phone and desktop?

Yes, free with no download or sign-up. It is built for one thumb on a phone; on a computer you can click to aim, use the arrow keys to fine-tune and hold Space to swing.
