Everyone gets the same 7 open questions each day, like “Name an animal with stripes”.

2

Answer in 25 seconds

Type one correct answer. Skip the obvious one — that’s what everybody else will say.

3

Dig up your gem

See exactly what % of players gave your answer, then share your gem row with friends.

Rarer answer, rarer gem

Your points come from real players: after each answer you see the share of people who said the same thing. Obvious answers dig up stones; answers almost nobody thinks of dig up diamonds.

Questions people ask

What is Rarest Answer?

Rarest Answer is a free daily trivia game. Every day everyone gets the same 7 open questions, such as "Name a fruit that isn't red". You have 25 seconds per question to type one correct answer. The fewer players who give the same answer, the more points you score.

How is my score calculated?

Each correct answer scores 5 to 100 points depending on how many players gave it: an answer given by 10% of players is worth about 33 points, 1% about 67, and 0.1% or rarer the full 100. Wrong or empty answers score 0. Seven questions make a maximum of 700.

What if I make a typo?

Small spelling mistakes are forgiven, and capital letters, accents, “the” and plurals don't matter. Correct answers that aren't on our list yet are checked once by an AI judge and then counted for everyone.

When do new questions come out?

A new set of 7 questions appears every day at 00:00 UTC. Past days stay available in the archive with the answer statistics.

Do I need an account?

No. The game is free and needs no sign-up. Your streak and scores are saved in your browser.

Is this the same game as Krillion?

No. Rarest Answer is an independent game with its own questions, scoring and art. It is not affiliated with Krillion (krillion.io). If you like Krillion, you will probably enjoy this one too — see our comparison page.
